About Us
Dr. Treat and Dr. Joffe are board-certified endocrinologists with almost 40 years combined experience who decided to open a direct care endocrine practice that focuses solely on the patient-doctor relationship. This way of practice will allow for unrushed visits , prompt scheduling, and more immediate access to your clinician. In this model, there are no insurance driven hurdles. There will be a smaller patient base, more personalized visits, and more transparent pricing. We want our patients to feel like they are getting the services and time that they deserve.
Meet the Physicians
Dr. Vanita Treat, MD
Dr. Denise Joffe, MD
Dr. Treat completed her undergraduate education at the University of Pennsylvania. She then went on to do her medical school training at MCP Hahnemann School of Medicine and her internship, residency, and fellowship training at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. She has been a part of Bryn Mawr Medical Specialists on the main line for almost 20 years, where she had the opportunity to build strong relationships with her patients and her fellow physicians.
Dr. Treat valued that experience but decided it was time to spend more time with her patients, because much of medicine to her and what drew her to Endocrinology as a specialty was the relationships she formed getting to know her patients on a more personal level.
Dr. Treat enjoys tennis and other racket sports along with various forms of dance, including tap and hip-hop. She shares these interests with her beloved family and enjoys spending time with her King Charles cavalier.
Dr. Joffe completed her undergraduate education at the University of Pennsylvania before earning her medical degree from MCP Hahnemann School of Medicine. She completed her residency at Boston University Medical Center and her endocrinology fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.
Dr. Joffe began her career at Cooper Hospital in South Jersey, then joined Bryn Mawr Medical Specialists on the Main Line, where she practiced for nearly 17 years alongside Dr. Treat. During that time, she built a thriving practice, cultivating meaningful, long-lasting relationships with her patients.
Driven by a desire to provide more personalized, attentive care, Dr. Joffe transitioned to a direct care model — allowing her to dedicate more time to each patient and deliver the individualized attention everyone deserves.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Joffe enjoys playing padel, learning golf, and exploring new restaurants throughout Philadelphia, where she lives and spends time with family and friends.
